        Our family has been involved in the cattle industry our entire lives.  Buying our first Limousin Bull in 1979, we were so impressed with the quality of calves that hit the ground, that we decided to become invested in the seedstock business raising Limousin cattle. In 2000 we incorporated Limflex® into our herd. We feel that these genetics have helped us to  create the ultimate beef machine.  

         

        Here  at Beckman Livestock and Farming we are family owned and operated.  Our seedstock stresses quality, not quantity. Our cattle possess the eye appeal to be competitive in the show ring, but are also well proven in their functionality in the real world.  We stress good dispositioned, sound, fertile cows that can milk and raise a calf.  We pride ourselves on our use of some of the best genetics available. Our entire operation is 100% AI, and thanks to Viks hard work heat detecting  there has yet to be a clean up bull turned out on the place.                      

 

        Cattle and Farming are not just a business for us, but something that all members of our family are passionate about, put a lot of work into, and take a lot of pride in. This is one of the many reasons why in early 2000 we decided to also break into the Club Calf Business using our functional females, to produce some cool club calves with the most up to date available genetics! Its never too early to get the youth of today involved in 4-H!
